Economists call for fiscal autonomy (Here)

With the well documented problems facing our country: loss of young people, widening gap between rich and poor, loss of population, it is now more important than ever that Scotland takes the steps necessary to tackle these problems without further delay.

The SNP argues that Scotland should be an independent country, just like others such as Denmark, France, Estonia and Germany. These countries take it for granted that they can take their own specific approach to fundamental issues such as when we go to war, what our broadcasting policy is, immigration, power generation and others. Scotland cannot legislate in it's own Parliament with regard to these issues and we will never be able to unless we become independent. It really is that simple - The Tories, Lib Dems etc NEVER want Scotland to have the powers that other countries take for granted.

Currently Scotland is a country without the powers to legislate on a wide range of issues - we, the SNP want to change that. We have a vision: a strong, prosperous, free country where every citizen has the opportunity to take part in the country's growth and direction.

A country where the senior citizens have a just and fair pension, a country where our young people are able to stay and work in their country of birth, a country that is welcoming to all regardless of ethnic origin, colour of skin or religion.

Invest in your and our future - vote for an Independent Scotland - Vote SNP
